Report Fraud
Last updated: 16 July 2026
⚠️ Draft for review. This is boilerplate to be reviewed and finalised by legal counsel before Kredilo begins lending operations.
Loan fraud is common in India. Scammers impersonate lenders to steal money or data. This page tells you what Kredilo and Maple Finance will never do, and how to report anything suspicious.
We will NEVER ask you for
- Your OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN/CVV, or net-banking password.
- An upfront “processing”, “insurance”, “GST” or “advance” fee paid to a personal account, wallet, or UPI ID. All charges are deducted from your disbursal and shown on the Key Fact Statement.
- Payment to any account other than the official lender account shown in your loan agreement.
- Remote-access apps (AnyDesk, TeamViewer) or to install an APK from outside the official channels.
Signs of a scam
- Guaranteed approval with “no checks”, or pressure to pay immediately.
- Loan offers over WhatsApp/Telegram from unknown numbers using the Kredilo or Maple Finance name.
- A “loan app” not linked from kredilo.in.
How to report
Email [email protected] with screenshots, the phone number/URL involved, and any transaction details. We investigate every report.
